Booking

Please note that all apartments have a service charge which will be required to be paid in cash on arrival. Please enquire if you have any questions about this charge. We will be happy to explain it to you. It is not an extra charge as such but a practical way of paying our staff. The amount is taken into account in our price structure.We also require a cash damage deposit which is refunded on check out.

We may charge for excessive electricity use so please turn off lights and air conditioning/fans etc when not in use. Once keys are returned and the apartment has been checked we refund the damage deposit before you go home. Loss of keys is chargeable.

For security please note that for your security we take bookings via paypal.

Please check prices with Mattie and also enquire about discounts for winter bookings for one month or more. We have excellent options for longer term guests.

Policies

Discounts

We offer discounts for two weeks or more in the summer season and we offer a special rate for winter rentals of more than one month.

Please contact us for more information on long term rentals.

Cancellation

We regret that we do not offer refunds on deposits or final payments. We can provide you with a rental contract so you can obtain travel insurance for protection in the event of a need to cancel. We understand that in an emergency this may be unavoidable and would hope that your insurance would cover this unlikely eventuality. However as we are a small business and our guests book sometimes months in advance it is often very difficult to re-book an apartment. We may have already turned away guests for your dates.

In special cases and if we can rebook the apartment we will give a partial refund. However, in seven years of being in Villefranche and hundreds of guests we have only had three cancellations due to unfortunate circumstances, one of which we did refund in full.
